Position-first flight awareness

The whole flight.
One living thread.

See current aircraft positions by U.S. region, then follow every available observation in a clear, chronological view—with source and freshness always in sight.

One object, not five tabs

A flight is a sequence.
The interface should be, too.

01

Find what is actually observed.

Choose one of 27 named U.S. regions. If the current source reports no usable aircraft, the app says so plainly.

02

Open a unified flight thread.

Position, route enrichment, weather, and advisories appear in time order instead of being scattered across disconnected screens.

03

Know where every fact came from.

Source health, observation times, confidence, and unavailable states remain visible. Unknown data stays unknown.

Designed for trust

No invented routes.
No decorative “live” state.

CurrentFreshness is part of the interface. Position snapshots and source observations show when they were received.

PrivateNo account. No device location. Following and region choices stay in the app’s local container.

HonestGaps remain visible. Unavailable sources are named instead of being replaced by sample or guessed data.

The version 1 boundary

Focused by design.

Version 1 is a position-first tracker with nearby government context. ATC and ACARS are not included. They will not appear until the product has appropriate sources, rights, privacy handling, and reliable operations.

Source notes

Built on public aviation infrastructure.

Aircraft positions come from ADSB.lol community data under the Open Database License 1.0. Weather observations come from NOAA’s Aviation Weather Center, and airport advisories come from FAA NAS Status.
